Completely new format

Unlike the previous generation devices, presented in only one format, for the first time IQOS ILUMA is presented in 3 formats:
• IQOS ILUMA PRIME™ - our premium device with our most innovative design and materials.
• IQOS ILUMA™ - similar design improved
• IQOS ILUMA ONE™ - all in one pocket size device

IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA consist of two parts: a holder and charger.

Innovative heating technology

All devices of the IQOS ILUMA series work with innovative tobacco heating technology: the bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ that heats tobacco from within with a new tobacco stick called TEREA SMARTCORE STICK™. So, your tobacco is heated not burned with improved draw* and taste consistency from stick to stick.

IQOS ORIGINALS DUO works with HEATCONTROL resistive technology. It has a heating blade made of ceramic.

Charging

Like IQOS ORIGINALS, IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA offer up to 20 uses on a full charge** (135 minutes) and 2 consecutive uses. And the IQOS ILUMA ONE compact device provides up to 20 consecutive uses with a full charge (90 minutes).

Advantages of smokeless alternatives

IQOS ILUMA devices have retained all the advantages that were unique to IQOS ORIGINALS, adding and improving them: no smoke, no ash, less smell compared to cigarettes***. In addition to all this, IQOS ILUMA also offers:

• Simplified experience without cleaning the holder: The TEREA stick is sealed and leaves no ash.
• Simplified stick insertion and extraction as the sliding of the cap has been eliminated from the holder.
• Bladeless heating with new induction technology.
• Availability of advanced functions: autostart for IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA devices and autostop for all 3 devices.

Sticks and flavours

IQOS ILUMA is only used with the new SMARTCORE TEREA sticks and now the heating is done from within the stick.

HEETS sticks are designed for previous generation IQOS devices and cannot be used with IQOS ILUMA.

TEREA sticks mirror the flavors of HEETS sticks, making the transition to the device easier.

In spite of the obvious differences between IQOS ILUMA and previous generation IQOS devices, the updated and advanced functions of the new device, like all previous generation devices, IQOS ILUMA also heats tobacco without burning it, emits 95% less harmful chemicals and remains a better alternative than continued smoking****.
