We have talked about the advantages of IQOS many times, but this time we want to present it all from the viewpoint of an adult IQOS user.
Although the best option is always to stop using tobacco and nicotine altogether, smokeless alternatives are considered a better choice because they heat the cigarette instead of burning it, emitting 95% less harmful chemicals compared to cigarettes.*
Combining the results of numerous clinical and non-clinical studies on IQOS with their own experience, many adult IQOS users describe the advantages of our smokeless alternative in their own words.
For example, one of adult users who switched to IQOS from 2019 calls IQOS an innovation. Here is what she says:
IQOS ILUMA uses SMARTCORE™ innovative technology, which is why IQOS ILUMA does not burn tobacco, produce smoke and ash. According to clinical studies, switching completely to IQOS improves lung function, breathing and contributes to less coughing compared to continued smoking.**
There are also opinions about this from IQOS users who have already experienced all these positive changes. Berkant, who has been using IQOS for almost 5 years, says he has started to cough significantly less:
Another user, among all advantages, emphasized out another fact:
As we can see, our adult users also agree that IQOS has a number of advantages and is considered a better alternative than continued smoking.
Important Information: IQOS is not risk-free and provides nicotine, which is addictive.
*“95% less” represents the average reduction in levels of the 9 chemicals recommended for reduction in cigarette smoke by the World Health Organization, which do not include nicotine. It does not necessarily equal a 95% reduction in risk.
**6-month clinical study conducted in U.S. with 984 adult smokers.
